Our classes are from September through April and are conducted at the Parish Center on 4 days of the week: Sunday through Wednesday. Classes are assigned based on time and teacher availability. The earlier you register the more likely that you will get the class and time you desire. Those who pay tuition in full will receive preferential placement on a first-come first-serve basis.

If a family has a legitimate hardship that prevents them from paying tuition, or if you need a payment plan, you must either speak to the pastor or address your concerns in writing.

Conditions of Participation

Mass Attendance - Catholics are required by our Faith to attend Mass each Sunday. There is a grade level liturgy for each grade, once a month, during the school year. Please check the calendar distributed at the beginning of classes.

Regular attendance - no more than three excused absences will be allowed in the school year.

Class Behavior - Children who are not well behaved will be excused from class and sent to the office. Repeated occurrences will result in our contacting the parent.

Electronic Devices – Cell phones should be turned to silent (not vibrate). Our time with your child(ren) is only one hour a week and we want to make the most of it!

Payment-To ensure class placement, fees and tuition should be made at time of registration.

Welcome to Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish religious education program. Our program seeks to live the Gospel by educating the children in our Catholic faith and its traditions. We are dedicated to the central mission of making known the Good News of Jesus Christ to the youth of our Parish Community. The True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is the very core of our work and mission to those whom we serve in His Name.

To worship and live the Gospel through prayer, liturgy, and sacraments.

To bring all to the understanding that prayer in the forms of the Rosary, personal prayer and Mass (the greatest prayer) is important for growth in spiritual life.

Religious Education Program Summary

Our program is blessed with more than 1150 students and 95 volunteer teachers, aides, and hall monitors. We are most fortunate to have a beautiful parish center containing 11 classrooms and a large gymnasium to accommodate the numerous classes that meet each week. There is an atmosphere of community and collaboration in our Religious Education Program. The Program is joyful and hopeful in its expression of the True Presence of the Risen Christ among us.
